Ticketmaster's president has admitted to "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, raising new concerns over the company's reliability. A separate report cited the outage as evidence the risk that comes with depending on a single ticketing platform.
The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was blindsided by the fees Ticketmaster added on top of her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, unveiled TourIQ, a data-driven pricing feature aimed at live event sellers, positioning itself as an alternative at a time when trust in Ticketmaster continues to erode.
