Fantastic Furniture has closed its last Australian factory, resulting in the loss of 100 jobs. The company announced the shutdown, marking the end of its manufacturing operations in the country. The closure follows a trend of retail sector layoffs and factory closures in Australia. The move is unexpected to the local economy and employs. The factory, which has been a major employer in the region, will now undergo a period of change. The company has not yet announced plans for its future operations or whether it will shift production to other countries. The closure is a result of a broader shift in the retail sector, with many companies scaling back their operations in recent years. This has led to rising unemployment and monetary uncertainty in the region.
