Daniel Tupou has retired from the NRL just days after the Sydney Roosters lifted the premiership trophy. The winger leaves the sport as a four-time premiership winner, all earned with the Roosters, having never played for another NRL club.
The Roosters said they were "lost for words" at his departure. Tupou's full NRL journey was spent in red, white and blue, making him one of the most committed one-club figures in the competition's recent history.
