British Airways Flight BA707 was rerouted from London Heathrow to Gatwick on Wednesday because of strict night restrictions at Heathrow. The aircraft was denied landing clearance at Heathrow, leading to the diversion to Gatwick. The incident illustrates how operational rules can impact flight schedules. Reports indicate that the decision was made to comply with the night restrictions at Heathrow, which limit certain activities during the night. The flight operated normally after the diversion, with no passengers reported to have been disrupted.
